I was on the fence with the R's sculpting at first, and have come to really like it a lot.

This one... I can't stand up for it, plus all that work that went into the aero is gone.

Actually, looking at it, it still looks pretty functional; but it's as if they took all the haters advice and got rid of fake vents.

The most awful as the front grill and the deletion of the black mask loses a lot of the identity for me.

On the plus, I do like the wheels and the livery is kinda cool.

I hope that remains a concept or Mugen comes up with a more "visually appealing but still functional" version.

Also curious about what bolt-ons they have on the car (intake, exhaust, etc.)

What they did to the regular hatch is a lot more subtle, although the only thing I'm interested from that is the grill.

Or they just hired Chris Bangle (former BMW designer) to destroy the company.
I seriously was expecting something more appealing to the streets and less of robotic cartoon cues.
Last Mugen Type R prototype was really nice, why the FK8 can't?!
