I'm wondering what it would sound like with either just the muffler deleted and keep the res,,, or keep the muffler and remove those resonators?
I want some sound but not loud at all!

remove the RES. easiest and cheapest. Use a straight pipe for the replacement

Yup, you might see a small performance increase also. Now that the gases will have a straighter shot, without slowing down.

injen has there's out. but the issue is the CAT. the CAT will restrict any aftermarket exhaust, since it's located in the header, right in the worst spot.

what are willing to spend? you might be better with just replacing the mufflers and leaving the rest alone. that will give you a different sound.

that's probably your best bet if you're only looking for a sound change and maybe a little louder. All will depend on the mufflers you replace them with. I recommend a chambered muffler for what your looking for.

If money is no object get it custom done, header, CAT replacement(high flow) and a 2.5" exhaust. That way you'll get exactly what you want. And probably a good power increase to boot.

I wonder how much sound the resonators stop? As much as a muffler?,,

Sometimes. A resonator is designed to cancel out a particular sound. And that's determined by the manufacturers.

It makes it louder and aggresive. I took out my resonator and add DC Sport muffler.
