The car has not yet arrived, so they are really not doing themselves any harm by trying to lock in a deal with ADM and save the MSRP talk for after it actually arrives.

Yep. I guess nobody local to them wants to pay that much. I'm pretty sure this dealer is 100+ miles from me in a more mountainous area. Good, fun roads when the weather is good!
