Yup they're locked. And the Mishimoto threads in the classifieds that were advertising their presales are deleted. I bet this has something to do with the newly added sponsors. Lame.

If it was because of the rattling issue with the catch can why would they lock the Mishimoto intake development thread as well and delete the classified threads for both the catch can and the intake?

Mishimoto was helping with the rattling issue too.

Didn't know they locked the other ones either. You're probably right then. It's probably the new sponsors.

I've been seeing a good amount of build up as well. Which is great! But it makes me cringe knowing what was flowing back into the system, and still for allot of owners.

I'm gonna check mines on my next oil change (approx in 3500 miles). But I beleive I posted in the misihmoto thread, I checked it after 500 miles and did have a thin film of oil along the wall of the can .

I've been having rattling too! Is it the catch can? What's wrong with it? Do I just reach out to their support team?

If you disconnect just the hoses and re-install the original conection. And the ratting goes away, then it's the can.
And yah, just reach out to the support team. They'll get on it.

Thanks, but what was wrong with yours? Did they have to send you a new can?

I've been trying to get the dealer to fix this stupid issue because I thought I broke something on install. I never tried switching the tubing back, but your probably right.

I will contact them now, thanks!

no Problem, you dont need to fully remove the catch can. just pop the tubbing off the engine side and re-install the stock tube. if it goes awy then it's the can.

I will say that the solution of replacing the O ring and C clip worked for about a week. then it went back to a rattle. i'd push for a full replament, since mine came right back.

Have you attempted to get a full replacement?
