Hey,

When I turn my steering wheel to the left, I can hear some sort of screetching noise on the front left wheel. I looked at it but dont notice anything wrong?

It's a screetching metal type noise but one that doesnt hurt the ears if that makes sense. The more lock I put on the steering wheel to the left, the worse it gets.

Are you on stock 20’s or 18’s? With wheel turned all way left, look to make sure your brake line isn’t rubbing the inner barrel of the wheel.

I'm on 18s atm for winter.

It happens even if the wheel isn't all the way to the left. Any input to the left makes the noise (just started happening 2 days ago)

Rock stuck between the dust shield and rotor. Common thing.

Go to somewhere with a lot of space. Hit that bihh in reverse and slowly tap on your brakes. That will get any rocks in your dust shield out! If not then you're gonna have to take off the wheel to access that section

Oh cool, that's what's happening on my car too. It's the break line in my case. How are people fixing this? I'm on 18s and I temporarily fix by turning far left and far right again to get the break line off my wheel.

I've heard this is an issue when mounting 18s. Is there something I can do to make sure I don't run into this issue when I swap on my new wheels? Complete novice here and would like to not ever hear this noise if I can prevent it!

had it happen to just recently. It was only when i turned the wheel to the left. Gave it a nice push to the right and left and it seemed to dislodge. Had a cop behind me, thankfully he didnt pull me over! lol
