This weekend I was in Southern Cal and was able to meet up with @JDMpo0kie and get to see first hand the legendary BMW, Mercedes, WRX and anything that is not a V8 killer! It's always great to meet a fellow CivicX member (although I no longer own a Civic). Great, down to earth guy! I look forward to your postings when you are ready to build your new engine. Also, thanks for the latte...yeah, not only VW owners drink latte's :) (this is California, you know)

Sorry @TypeSiR I couldn't find the time so we could meet up, I was looking forward to checking out your Type R! Next time I'm in town!

Ha ha I usually drink my coffee black as well (no sugar) but we were at Starbucks. If were going to pay almost $5 for a cup of coffee, might as well have some steamed milk with it

Would’ve loved to check out Pookie’s new ride. Looks clean!

LOL. Isn’t that the Carl’s Jr. lot on Archibald? I used to eat there when I worked out of my boss’ garage back in the days.

I’m putting the wing back on so you can enjoy the full Type R experience the next time you’re in town. :drive:

No, we were on Schleisman Road in Eastvale. Also I think that is Jack in the Box! It is really clean, there are some dings from his runs, but overall a very clean car for being thru hell and back. Hey man, I look forward to riding in your CTR! If my son comes down with me next time I will bring him along

That was definitely a great coffee meet up. Hopefully next time you’re down, I will have my front bumper painted haha. Two years of racing every day really takes a toll on the front bumper paint lol! Was really nice to have met you.

Same here bro. I'm glad my brother moved out of LA and bought a house in your neck of the woods. It's so much nicer there (although it was 100 F when I got there Thursday!) and I didn't have to drive 2 hours in damn LA traffic to have to meet you!

Haha yeah I’m gonna move closer to work in a couple years. Friday’s it takes 2 and a half hours to get home lol. It’s gonna be SUPER expensive living next to my work. Damn actors got it easy lol.

Ha ha most actors either live in Malibu, the Hollywood Hills or New York and someone drives them. Yeah, living in LA is expensive, and all the neighborhoods are congested. Also your car is going to become a break-in target parked on the streets. My brothers son-in-law had one of his wheels on his IS 250 stolen...right in his parking spot! They put his car on jacks in broad daylight, and one of his neighbors walked by and they took off, only getting one wheel. After I bought my car the first thing I did was buy wheel locks, but i am sure they know how to get around those

Haha I work on set with the actors and man the guys from Big Bang theory have pretty nice cars. Haha I scared Jim Parsons (Sheldon) by walking right behind him lol his reaction was hilarious.

I have never seen Big bang. I don't watch much TV. I did watch GOT but didn't start watching until season 5 and only finished it because they took a two year break! Yep, those bastards are rich but a lot die young and poor of overdoses. Having lots of money does not always lead to happiness
