2 week update: 550 miles in!! Having fun everytime I drive it. Gearbox seems more smooth. Brakes sometimes still squeak during slow braking. Averaging 30mpg, mostly freeway. DDing the CTR has been such a pleasure. Car has been awesome in every way possible so far!

White stays way cleaner for way longer than I thought. And since I polished and waxed it pretty well, it cleans up way easier after it gets dusty and dirty. Yes, I'm keeping that blue plastic on until it falls apart lol.

Installed a couple of interior items.

I'm also an S2000 owner and I've only test driven the CTR on a couple occasions. My S2000 is an AP1, bought it new back in 2002. My impressions are similar but a I'll share a few other observations:

1) Seats. Comfort is subjective and depends on your size but definitely better in the CTR, IMO. Much more supportive and no sliding around, at least given my size.
2) Steering: S2000 has faster, more direct steering. Partially because of it being RWD. In the CTR the front wheels are doing double duty so less direct feeling to me.
3) Shifting. Hands down the S2000 is, for me, much more of a bolt action rifle. Fast and direct. The CTR is very good, but the S2000 has no linkage, your shifts are actuating parts directly below the shift knob.
4) Suspension. My car has 135,000 miles on it so it's difficult to compare exactly, however, I'm sure the CTR has much better stock suspension given it has electronically adjustable dampers and benefits from 20 years of newer technology and suspension design.
5) Sound. The S2000 is extremely unique in the way the engine sounds, particularly when you are revving it out to 9000 RPM. The CTR is good, but for uniqueness I'd have to give it to the S2000.
6) Grip. The S2000, being RWD, has great balance and just has the best sportscar feel. The CTR can pull higher G's in the turns though. Particularly on the wide rubber with not much sidewall.
7) Fun. I like the CTR but my 16 year old S2000 still puts a bigger smile on my face. The CTR has great mid-range punch though.

I would have liked to have had a CTR in the garage next to my S2000. However, there were several factors that pushed me over to the 2018 Accord 2.0T Sport, many of which were just a better daily driver for me than the CTR. So, maybe some day down the road, I'll put a CTR in the garage but for now I'll just be an occasional visitor to these forums.
