Hey, so think keeps happening to me. This pipe keeps coming off . I had two mechanics put it back but this keeps happening . Can it be a faulty clamp ?

You have the clamp to far toward the other pipe. The seem of the two pipes needs to be in the middle of the clamp

I believe it’s sliding. The clamps are a weak point .

They should not be able to slide at all when the clamp is tight, it does appear that the clamp is to far in one direction. If you could get a few more pictures of the clamp installed and how the pipes are positioned we can have a better idea, as it does look like the pipes may be rotated a bit to much.

My setup is as follows:

PRL 3" Catless DP
PRL 3" FP
MAP Catback Race Exhaust Black Tips

I finally received my exhaust on Friday, and got it installed on Saturday. The OEM 3 bolt adapter is actually a 2.5" pipe. I swear I recall seeing something about this adapter being compatible with a 3" FP but I don't see how it could have been installed without having the exhaust leak. I had to have an exhaust shop fab a 3 inch adapter together themselves.

Honda Civic 10th gen ***MAPerformance Civic SI 1.5t Catback Release and Group Buy!*** 3inchFP_to_2-5inchAdapter

The exhaust note is MUCH better than stock, it has a nice deep bass to it instead of the tinny rasp that the stock setup has with a catless DP.

HOWEVER, the Street setup + catless DP is way way way too loud. From a cold start, it sounds like a jet engine is getting ready to for takeoff. Anything from around 3k-5k RPM has excessive bassy drone inside the cabin to the point where it feels like my eardrums are vibrating. Does anyone else with this setup have a similar experience? I have a decibel meter on order from Amazon, but I'm pretty sure the sound is over 95dB.

The overall looks of the exhaust actually impressed me. The build quality and finish of the product is top notch, the welds are flawless. I was skeptical on the quad tip design, and I still would greatly prefer a dual tip design but after having it installed in person, it doesn't look half bad.

Overall, the exhaust is great! But I really need to do something about the noise level. It is definitely not 'street-able' as is. Also note the issue with the OEM adapter if you are coming from 3" pipes.

Probably need to go catted DP, or see if MAP would help out with stealth system? Glad to hear the quad is sitting better with you, mine is on its way soon I think, but yeah I initially just wanted dual tip too.

I'm running rv6 catless frontpipe and downpipe with the street version of maperformance exhaust. I am totally in love with the sound although I do agree the noise on a cold start is a bit loud. Although the loud exhaust is a great replacement for the weak ass horn we get stock.

Well... After waiting 8.5 weeks for my exhaust, it's finally here. Unfortunately, I found a few quality issues on 2 of the 3 piece. There's a 1" dent on the resonator, rub marks on three of the four tips, and a 2mm hole through the welding of one of the tips. This is pretty frustrating, to say the least, after waiting so long.

Yeesh you guys are making me nervous. I think mine is shipping this week. I am going to inspect mine closely. They must be rushing these things man. I don't doubt they will fix this for you, but it is still upsetting. I don't want to have to deal with exchanges when I get mine. :(

I told the mechanic what you said . He shifted one of the pipes which ended up going into the sleeve.

Pictures below are post install. Let me know if you see any issues .

That looks much better, there looks to be a little more wiggle room to gain some ground clearance but much better already. The one down side to V-band clamps is it leaves some room for parts to rotate and not be positioned perfectly. We are talking about some solutions for that to make the install even easier.

Hi. Im currently on the edge of ordering the Race option. This system looks high quality and aesthetically pleasing, but i currently have stock fp/dp and not sure if it would be too raspy. Ive been searching through youtube trying to find more clips of the race system (with stock dp/fp) other than the one provided by MAP. Does anybody have any other clips? also, i have seen other comments saying shipping takes months, if i were to place an order in the following days, how long would i wait to get my hands on it? thinking of going with blue tips. and can those who have received it already, how long did it take to get to you? Thank you for your time.
