Same here, I'm just so disabled now I can barely make it through the day let alone do much work on the car anymore.
Makes it extra frustrating/embarrassing as I use to be an ex-ASE Technician & more.....plus the $20k in Snap-On tools just collecting dust.
I know exactly what you are talking about, Ft. Riley has a huge automotive plaza for service men/women, can't tell you how many times I've used their bays/lifts on friends cars. All my military friends have been transferred & the my other group of military friends are all extremely disabled like me(how we met) and I can't get onto base anymore so I'm stuck taking it somewhere. Just can't stand other people touching my car but I need the help now.
I'd drive up, Minnesota is beautiful and I think one of my old roommates from Wyotech still lives near by.
