No need for a crossover then? (Tweeters came stock in my car of course, but I'm considering installation of a crossover if I ever replace them.)

do you have an amplifier to run the component and coaxial speaker? and also, do you have a sub?I had a pair of Kicker KSS67 component speakers installed in front. The door speakers were replaced, and tweeters were installed in the door sail panels. The KSS67 includes a crossover network, which is installed. Pictures of the installed tweeters are below. I am happy with the component speakers with respect to sound and appearance of the tweeters. The rear speakers were replaced with Kicker KSC67 coaxial speakers.
No amplifier and no sub. A subwoofer might be a nice enhancement. For now, I do not want to do the modifications to the vehicle which would be required to add a subwoofer. Also, adding that would be an experiment, and I might not like the outcome with respect to sound.do you have an amplifier to run the component and coaxial speaker? and also, do you have a sub?
For the tweeter wiring, did you do the same, tap into the lower door speaker?I had a pair of Kicker KSS67 component speakers installed in front. The tweeter wires are connected to the tweeter output of the crossover network. See http://www.kicker.com/app/manuals/mids_tweets/ks/KS_Components_RevE.pdf , "One component set per channel".For the tweeter wiring, did you do the same, tap into the lower door speaker?
Oh right, so you take the wires off the door speaker and run them through the crossover. Sorry this is all new to me!The tweeter wires are connected to the tweeter output of the crossover network. Hello my friend, im about to install some Focal component speakers in my car but wanted to ask you where did you put the crossover?, thanks!I had a pair of Kicker KSS67 component speakers installed in front. The crossover network is inside the door. I did not do the installation, and I do not have more detail regarding mounting of the network.Hello my friend, im about to install some Focal component speakers in my car but wanted to ask you where did you put the crossover?, thanks!
Never changed the speakers on a car before, so this is all very new to me.Just installed these over the weekend in my LX.. plenty of depth and no need to purchase the factory pods from Honda..
those part numbers are for the actual tweeters but not the sail panels.. the panels alone are:Never changed the speakers on a car before, so this is all very new to me.
Where can I get the factory pods from Honda? Hoping to get an LX-P Coupe here in a few months, and I'm thinking of adding tweeters (by the door as you have done, and as Honda does usually).
Also, reading through the thread, I want to say that the ability to add tweeters is already there (nothing additional needed), and installing them would be no different than if Honda had done so themselves at the factory (afterall, they come stock on the Canadian LX)?
I just realized that the question on where to get the factory pods was silly, and I want to say I can just use the same ones as the EX Sedan/EX-T and up Coupes?
I see two on the Honda parts site. Do I need two of each for the front?

The wires to connect the tweeters to won't be there. You'll need a driver's door wire harness (part 32751-TBG-A20) and the passenger one (32752-TBG-A20). Or solder your own wires onto the tweeter's socket and tap them into the wires going to the existing door speakers.I want to say that the ability to add tweeters is already there (nothing additional needed)
Sorry to bring this back from the dead. I'm new to the whole audio world but buying these factory door wire harnesses will give me a plug for the factory tweeter versus having to tap the tweeters into the lower door speakers? The wires to connect the tweeters to won't be there.
