Just curious to see how a Lunar Silver Civic would look like with the red Type R 'H' badge front and rear... :)

Not a commonly seen combo, so bring on those pictures please :)

thx!

It looks bad, and the red badge reserved for the Type RRrrrr.

I'll go for the black badge if you want to have the CTR badge style. It's my honest opinion.

I go with the Honda access black emblems instead, and only the black works on silver or gray IMO.

Wouldnt it look much better with the black grill than when it was installed with the chrome grill?

Lol Black on black, you can bearly see it..:rolleyes1:

And I dont agree that the red badges should only be used for the Type R.
As long as you dont stick the words 'Type R' on a non Type R, I dont see the problem. Its not like some who put an M badge on their BMW Diesel car

Whether you like it or not, it's a trim offered in Japan with all the Modulo accessories. It'd look hilarious if you put the black H emblem on a chrome grill, which looks like it's missing.

The red badge is equivalent to Type R because it's only come with the Type R.

The red badge is going to work fine on the front if you have a black grill, but I'm not feeling the same for the rear because the red just doesn't work on silver, IMO.

Here are some pictures with the black badge, which personally I think it matches the color better. The only thing that I don't like is the badge itself, these replicas are slightly bigger, so it won't fit in the recessed area for the badge.

interesting heads up, but I was only planning to buy original OEM stuff, no fake stuff from China.

Dealer has been noticed, so I'll wait his answer on the badges, might be I let him do the install too...

True, the Civics with a chrome front look hideous to be honest...luckely that can be remedied easily :)

It'd be fine on the front with the black grill, but the red badge looks pretty bad at the back on the trunk/hatch with silver body color IMO.

True, I still need to find a convincing picture :)

On the other hand the rear of the car is the ugliest party anyway :)

Red badges only on the type ar derp derp. FakeR derp. Seriously, OP just asked for silver civic with badges. No one cares about your stance on what a colored emblem represents. If you cant understand that people mod there cars because they like the way it looks then there is a problem with you.

WTF?!

you call me a "derp" for wanting to fit a Type R badge on my non Type R yet, you had a whole interior overhaul, including a Type R badge on your steering wheel!!? o_O:rolleyes1::doh:

If I am a fucking derp, than what does that make you?! :hater:
I believe he was in defense of you wanting to put red badges on. His "derp derp" remark is poking fun at the people who constantly say you can't do that because it's only for type r's and would make you a "poser." I think you simply misunderstood his intent. Apparently some people think putting red H badges on a non-CTR is the equivalent of putting a fake Ferrari body kit on a Pontiac Fiero.
