2018 Sport-Touring
D2 Springs
Godspeed Camber Arms
Garageline 15mm spacers all around
Rear fenders rolled

The drop is very low at 2". The ground is right there when you step out. lol

FAQs:

Do I need an alignment?
YES!!!! Holy hell yes.

Will my alignment be back to stock?
No. You will have about - 2.5-degree camber in the rear.

Can I run with negative camber?
Yes. The inside of the tires will wear quicker than the outside but yes. The front will be ok but, not perfect. If you want it perfect, the guide pins need to be removed from the struts.

Do I need to roll my fenders?
Yes. IF you want stock camber the rears need to be rolled.

Do I have to drop the rear subframe, gas tank, move exhaust?
NO!!!! The bolts are hard to get to for the camber arms but we did it without any of those things needing to be removed. You can get a socket on it and you will need a stubby wrench maybe. Small hands recommended.

Will I rub?
POSSIBLY. I'm currently running some negative camber on the rear. Unless I roll my fenders or remove my spacers(NO!!!!) it has to stay that way.

Did you hang on the front knuckle to get the strut back in?
YES!!!!!! It still didn't go in. Remove the 3 bolts at the bottom of the knuckle and you will have more play to get the strut back in. Literally, you only need to remove 9 bolts for the fronts and one for the rear each side.

How's the ride?
It's stiffer. You can feel the road more. Twice I've slammed my car on a deeper than expected pothole and thought I broke my car. Corners are very nice now, minimal body roll. It hugs quite nicely. Bumps hit harder though.

Did the 15mm spacers fit right on?
No. We had to cut out some of the rears of the OEM wheels for the studs to fit.

Do bump stops need cut?
No.

Nice, looking forward to seeing pictures.

Did the 15mm spacers fit right on? I remember reading somewhere on this forum that you had to trim the bolts of 15mm spacers or something similar

you can trim the bolts or cut into the back of the wheel like i did. 20mm & 25mm you do not need to. I'm pretty sure if I roll my fenders Im going to go to 20mm front 25mm rear.

I have to say the side pic of the car looks like every other 10th gen dropped on D2’s. The back always looks sagged to me. Nice write up tho!

I have a question! I'm installing coilovers on my car, and for sure I thought the rears was gonna be easy peasy, but one bolt hole cannot for the love of god or anything holy line up. I circled the bolt from your picture, and also a picture of mines. I have everything lightly bolted down, but only on the drivers side. Everything is still tight and such on the passenger side. Do you think I should loosen up things on the passenger side for things to fall into place?

hammer the bolt through until it gets to the threads. the when it does screw it in. youll need to hit on the metal bracket there too to slide it around until you get it right. it lines up but not quite. use a rubber hammer and just keep hitting it around. itll go in. i did do mine with everything unhooked both sides. not sure that it matters.

Do you think theres a huge difference between the 2x2 and the 1.7x2 in drop? I accidentally ordered the wrong springs. just debating if i wanna deal with exchanging them lol

yeah its weird cause the part number on carid.com for the 2x2 springs is the same number for the 1.7x1.9 springs.
