I highly recommend chameleon tuning in Bohemia, manny is an incredible Honda mechanic/builder/tuner and has been doing it for a very long time, like 20 years long... very knowledgeable, very thorough and very honest... his shop is immaculate and has built some VERY fast Honda’s! He did the intake, frontpipe and downpipe and tune on my si and I couldn’t have been any nite satisfied!Any recommendations for a shop on Long Island for a downpipe install?

uh oh that doesnt sound good. I mean i am unsure how much tuning work they do with honda, I brought my Sti's to him and i did speak with him regarding a couple of installs on my R and hes down to do them. He'd be the only person I trust besides myself to touch my car.Update. I don't recommend elite motorsports. I'll try No Limit Motorsport next time

yikes. Im sorry that happened to you. Mo' and the gang at No Limit are really stand up guys. Although admittedly I did not read the entire thread, I am sure whatever experience you had with them would have been much more pleasent at No limithttps://www.civicx.com/forum/thread...rom-295-to-660-without-tax.47541/#post-778430
It was a downpipe install gone wrong
Thanks!
Damn, ive heard good things about chameleon. Disappointed that you got that kind of response. I have heard they do good tuning. But I really dont know any great honda tuners in NY. Thats why for now when i go with my hondata im gonna stick with the base tune for awhile.i contacted chameleon via email advised them i understand the cvt cannot handle much, but how much for a custom tune and install downpipe
i asked to add "a little" more hp
their reply "if you want more hp" get bigger turbo, get Si, or accord with 10spd
then said you can bolt on mods but keep your current tune at 18psi
me = ::shrugs::

Im sure I would, but thats just a ridiculous response. You should wanna attain business from customers not drive them away. If i wanted more power by buying a more powerful car, chances are I would have done so in the first place. I work in the 5 towns next to valley stream, but live in levittown/east meadow area. How about you?yea me too, but you have an "R" so you might get a better response. Where in LI are you located?
