This spoiler sits a lot higher than the accessory item for the non-Si. Not sure which one I like better.

honestly the si wing looks way too flat...it doesnt even match the curves of the trunk lid so it makes it look really weird..

I love the look of the Si spoiler. Makes the base one look boring ;)

So not sure if it was covered but is the engine and turbo the exact same as the base ex-T engine just different tuning?

Is the turbo slightly different? Pistons rods the same? Cylinder head?

It's not official but various insiders are saying it's the CRV's 1.5T with 9 impeller blade turbo, bigger IC, and a couple additional tweaks unique to the Si. Pretty sure it has a slight uptick in boost as well.

My guess is that a flash should be able to net another 10% over the EX-T/Sport's capabilities.

The Si should have at least gotten the 15lb. lighter aluminum hood.
It's also a higher hood (bulging) on the CTR and might not match up with the Si fenders, too much extra cost to save 15lbs on a sport injected civic.

By "the CRV's 1.5T", are you saying the engine has differences too, or is it just the FI parts and tune?

That blue should be the same as the european version of the hatch:

According to autoblog, the engine internals are the same as the standard 1.5T, but with different turbo map and higher boost. And I guess the cross drilled rotors didn't make it to production.

10:3 compression vs the Civic's 10:6. Honda may have lowered it even further for the Si (but doubt it). I thought I read the piston crowns were different but I think I'm confusing with something else.

I'm pretty sure it will be a different engine code from the CRV's. But the tweaks should be very minor.

No, we also have this dark blue / violet like color in Europe. I wish it looked liked this, but it doesn't - we have the same color as you guys.
