Hello all, hopefully this isn't a stupid question. Is there a definitive list of the canned Ktuner tunes available for the Civic 1.5T and what they do? I've been looking and I haven't found a detailed list. Thanks in advance for the information.

Quick question, I am considering doing the HondaHack to my head unit and installing the Ktuner lite app. I understand that to use this app I have to leave the tuner plugged in all the time. As I understand it the ODB connector is constant powered so how much will that drain the battery (if you know)? Thanks for any info.

You only need to keep it plugged in when you want to look at the Tunerview readouts. I mean, sure you can do that every drive if you want or just plug it in once a week or so to keep an eye on things. It's just personal preference.

The ktuner goes to sleep when the ECU goes to sleep which is when there is nothing going on on the CAN

One thing I want to point out about using the Tunerview or Hondata apps that never gets discussed. They are cool to look at, no doubt. But I'll tell you what. And maybe this is based on the fact I live in the area that has been rated as the worst place to drive in the US...

Fact is, these apps can create a new kind of distracted driver situation. Yeah it's cool to stare at K.Control in real time, until the asshole in front of you slams on his brakes for no reason. I much prefer concentrating on my driving (and defensive driving) and running datalogs instead and viewing them in a comfy chair at home.:)

Meanwhile I drive on the NJ Parkway daily through commuter hours with youtube, netflix, Spotify, etc....

Keep your eyes on the road. Video is for passengers.

I used to live in Leonia (Next to Fort Lee) and worked for a company that sent me all over NJ. Nothing could make me forget how terrible that area is just with the NJ drivers and then you add all of the NYC drivers commuting in and out... Nope. Glad I moved haha.

You guys have it easy. Come down to Baltimore if you want to see the nations worst drivers. According to Allstate we beat Boston again for that dubious title.

I'm good on this. There could be 4am shameful porn on my radio and it won't bother me but that being said I agree with you completely. Less shit distracting you is best, just enjoy the ride. Analyze the datalogging after you get home. Stay safe fellow drivers. That being said I just flashed my ECU and wow I can tell the difference.
