Ok, maybe I missed this one.
Was driving the other day and had all the bells and whistles connected with KTuner, AA and so on. I decided to use cruise control for awhile and WHAT???? The Throttle Position (TPS) went to zero! But, the car was still under power and moving. So I went off CC, and the car slowed. I gave it gas and sure enough the TPS increased and the car accelerated.
Rinse and Repeat.
So........ TPS is just the foot pedal position? If yes, what value does this add on any charts / graphs, etc. I'd sort of like to know the fuel being sent to the engine. Perhaps fuel flow? Flow signal? Some "valve" position? I don't see where the gas pedal position add any value really.
Am I missing something?
