I reflashed with Ktuner 1.2 today and noticed it reset the oil percentage in maintenance minder to 100%. I'm curious what other settings in MM it resets? Particularly longer term items like CVT fluid changes, brake fluid, spark plugs, coolant etc.

Some have noted this only occurs when flashing from a PC, so I guess excludes 2.0 users?

I also get the practice of resetting to factory for when ppl bring their cars into dealers. If reflashs does wipe it clean, seems like a dead giveaway when for example, a car rolls in at 20k, but its MM history is reading like a brand new car. Maybe a moot point, since they could likely figure it out a flash if they really wanted to.

It's no different from when your battery loses its voltage. If your battery dies, all things including radio settings will reset.

Ktuner reflash kept all my radio settings and trip meter info though?

because you didn't lose power. What I'm saying is, the ktuner pretty much deletes and erases all of the data in the dash section of the car. It's no different than for example when your car battery dies. Except everything is then reset because of loss of power.
