Ksport Coilover Kontrol

Hello everybody, my mechanic installed the ksport coils for me. everytime i hit a small pothole it seems like i hit a huge one. I know The lower i go the stiffer the coils will be. Anything i could do to soften it up and ride something closer to stock, without adjusting the height? SOrry i am a noob when it comes to coilovers.

what is your dampness is it set at it should be at 16 clicks from soft

My mechanic said its in the middle right now. 16clicks from soft will fix all those crazy huge pothole hittinf sounds? I know i will still hear them because im on coils. I just dont want to cringe everything i hit somethjng small

If you are in the middle you are not far off "16 clicks from soft". I'd try giving it a few clicks toward soft and see if it helps any.

I popped open my hood. When turning it like 1 cm to the left doesnt make any clicking sound

Turn the knob all the way to the left till it stops an then do 16 clicks to the right

All the way to the left loosening the dampers, then right 16 times is tighten it. What i did was maxed it out by turning all the way to the right. Then loosened 4 full circles. Its hard to hear the clicks. It seems like theres 4 clicks per full circle. Every quarter turn i feel and hear that click. Am i doing it right or loosening too much by doing 4 full circles??

Yes i am. Turning left is soft and turning right is hard. I turned it to max stiff. And i just turned it to the left 4 full circle. It rides better. Idk how many clicks per circle. It seems like 4 per circle

Has your mechanic installed coilovers before? Did that person lower the ride height by lowering the spring perch (top) and not the body (bottom) perch to lower and raise the entire strut?

how low is your car my hits a bit hard but only on big bumps that's I can't avoid other than that it doesn't hit very much and I'm pretty low on ksport
