I love the track, wish they did open days without doing SCCA. We need a big enough group to rent it out like the BMW & Porsche crowd.
Skip the dragon for a national meet up, I vote Heartland park! lol

I'll be at Midwest Raceways 1/8 mile track in Manhattan tonight if anyone wants to come out. Seen a few Si's & Type R's locally!

Just found out they're running tonight.
We're only an hour from Topeka and 2 hours from KC or Wichita.

I'm 2 hours North, not a lot of very active car scenes around anymore unfortunately.

I would love to get a track day setup at Heartland Park (one of the best in the country, imo) but we'd need a lot of people. BMW & Porsche groups run a lot, wish I could run with them!
Amazing road course! I'd love to go head to head with a Type R!

Just not enough people who actually use their cars.

I'm in the Flint Hills and we have tons of awesome roads, pretty flat in Wichita.
Probably just street racing. A little rougher in certain parts too....I wouldn't take a Type R to some parts of town! lol

It was pretty fun! I didn't run as the lines were massive, I found out last minute too. Very fun little track!

Street life was pretty hot. Between the base and campus we have quite the diversity in cars!

Heartland Park 1/4 mile Test & Tune is next Friday night. Only about an hour from KC and myself.
$25 to race as many times as you can or $10 for the "Chicken Seats" or if you just want to watch lol
You can then take your ticket stub to Prairie Band Casino just North for a free $25 voucher.....so it's pretty much free?

Was hoping to have a big turn out but it's just not like it use to be, people just don't use their cars.
If enough people stepped up we could rent out Heartlands road course, that would be awesome!

I'm severely disabled, in chronic pain 24/7, & pretty much can't use the left side of my body very well and I still get out & try more than most people, it's a shame. Pretty much just like every other aspect of life as well! LOL

Heartland Park Track Night is also next Thursday the 28th. $150 for any class, free track tours & spectating.

Run from 3:00PM-9:00PM. Never been to one of these and just found this.
Assume a Snell helmet is mandatory but I would think that's about it? I believe these are intended to get newbies on the track.

Always a good time. $25 to run all night and it's a free voucher for the casino. $10 to watch.

Trying to get some 10th Gen's out but everyone is playing chicken. Be great to see what a Type R can do!

Was on my way out to at least watch Track Nights tonight but it's so hot (106+) they probably either called it or will run later.

Hoping tomorrow cools off quicker.
Drag races don't start until 6:30pm so we should be able to see high 70's by close at 10:30pm. Hopefully get some good runs in.

Anyone coming tomorrow for the 1/4? Trying to decide how many tools/support to bring.
I was hoping to have a set of slicks for people to borrow but I forgot they're from our 4x100 car.

Let me ya know if ya wanna meet up. Hoping to be there by 6:30-7:00pmish. I'll probably head down to Wanamaker/main street for grub and check out the street life afterwards. Everyone usually heads down.
