I know I've seen a handful of others around my area - wondering if any of them have made it here yet?

There's got to be dozens on the Bangor base. I was stationed there... awhile ago. Shocked there aren't some on the forums. I think there used to be import meets over at the Silverdale mall back when I was there. I don't know if that is still going on now.

Yeah, I work at PSNS (Bangor office), and see many Gen X Civics. I had one of the first Blue SIs in the area (I think) and there is one Type R at Bremerton. As for forum participation, I find the Volt group I was a part of is more active now.

My two cents.

I lot of great memories now that I look back at living in Silverdale. It was a decent area to live. This fall will be 10 years that I left, after living there for over 3 years. I've got to make it back one of these days. I miss me some Mandarin chicken fried rice and Azteca special dinner and there was a decent sushi place over where, I guess it was the Lovers Package...? That and the brewery was decent. Also... I remember slipping on ice up and down hills because they throw dirt on the road on not salt. I always prayed the car in front of me didn't have snow tires as I gently braked going down a hill to not slide... because if they did... they were getting rear ended. *I* sure couldn't stop.

It was the last place my wife and I lived before we had kids... so we were burning the candle at both ends back then and having a great time.

Good times. Definitely have to make it back. If nothing else, when I'm old and retired, I'll do a cross country again to check out that side of the country as part of a, "I'll be dead soon, better do it now" nationwide tour.

I could have sworn I was the only Aegean Blue SI around here! I've been looking and looking for another one and hadn't seen one until now. :) I work at Silverdale Transmissions, so you'll see my Susan parked out there on weekdays.

Waaayyy back when, I used to frequent "Taco Tuesday Tuner Night" (as we nicknamed it) in the old KMart parking lot in East Bremerton. I would always bring my G8. Never thought I'd end up owning or loving one of these SI's so much.

Y'all making me nostalgic over my time being stationed at PSNS Bremerton (CVN74). Azteca was good. I heard they closed down the Toad House in east brem and that made me sad. Heard they also closed down Noah's Ark close to base, too.

Toad House is still open. I order there on UberEats! Noah's Ark is most definitely still there!!

I take the back roads from Seabeck into Bangor (trigger gate). Since it is nice out (finally) I ride my bike into work most days. The Si is parked for trips up and down I5 for soccer. On the weekends Akula comes out as my wife and I get almost double the gas mileage as her Jeep GC.

That’s funny, I live deep in Seabeck and can take either Newberry or Anderson in to town. Maybe someday we should get some pics at Big Beef!
