If I can make a suggestion, since your ceramic coating it you probably shouldn’t wrap it also. I’ve seen wrapping itself cause corrosion.

This. Depending on weather and road conditions, you are trapping moisture under any wrap. Part of the reason I'm not wrapping anything on my car in WI...same place as OP. (I also am driving it in the winter)

Glad you got the PRL one!

Sucks you had that experience. From their end, I kind of understand, being a year out of buying their product, but maybe they can say "Hey sorry, that happened to you, send it back and let us repair this or we can get you a discount on another one". I don't know how your conversation went but I hate bad customer service.

I hope the PRL one lasts longer since I'm looking to get the PRL DP as well. From what I can tell, PRL has great customer service, great products, and great QA.

I dont drive my car in winter also avoid rain best i can so thats not the reason that down pipe cracked and deteriorating its just cheep material and poor welding

Probably both. Whether driving in rain, snow, winter, summer...you live in WI. There will be moisture under any wrap. An inferior product will compound this.
