Good to have more color options, but Sonic Gray doesn't do it for me. Would need to see it in person I guess.

I love the color, but the more I look at it with the Type R red accents the more I am turned off by it.
I love it on the hatchbacks, but when you add those red accents I don't think it flows well.

the sales manager informed me that they are very hush-hush when it comes to what technology is being released on the type-r however as a sales manager they have access in a system which tells build dates and color, october we will see 2019s
Well with this access he share any changes other than color for 2019? Looking forward to see if there will be any changes. If there are I want be surprised and I will kick myself. If there aren't any then I will sigh a relief and smile! hahahaha

2019's are definitely coming. I have a deposit on a CW at MSRP, the Sales manager just confirmed it will be 2019 model year. ;)

Dunno about color though, I kind of like that sonic grey. Reminds me of Nardo Grey...
Do they know what the 2019 MSRP is? Will it go up anymore? That is one thing that kept me from ordering is they told me MSRP is guaranteed, but couldn't tell me if it would go up. This was about a month ago. Also they mention any changes for 2019?

Big year again for Honda. Many refreshes coming. Civic? HRV, and Pilot.
Any news on these refreshes for the Civic will it relate to Type R or just other trims of the Civic?

Also what about the Pilot? My wife just got one. I heard they changed it when I was at the dealer buying my Type R last week and was like hmmm wonder if she should have waited. hahaha

It's a great color!

That is def a unique color and I can see it being very popular. I don't think I would have opted for it to pay extra or hold out longer, but if it was the one in stock and MSRP I sure wouldn't pass on it thats for sure.

Not feeling it
Nice metallic orange, yellow or metallic Forrest green or even maybe maroon would be better imo...certain colors only look good on certain body styles.

With Sonic Grey color coming, is there going to be a SoCal MSRP Edition coming as well?

The color changes depending on lighting.

Here is a close-up photo (you can literally see a reflection of the clouds) taken in direct sunlight.

After taking another look at the photo above, you can view the color change from left to right as the light and angle change. It’s one heck of a paint combination by Honda!

I like my, looks great under different lighting. I had a Nardo Grey Audi RS3 before so quite familiar with this kind of colour, otherwise it might take a little time to adjust.

The Pearl effect on the Sonic Grey looks amazing under the sun in different angles :)

Thanks for sharing! Would you say the Sonic Grey works with the red accents? In photos I’m iffy how I feel about it!
