Mirrorlink is being phased out in favor of AA. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

It's an earlier standard for screen mirroring similar to Android Auto and CarPlay. Mirrorlink wasn't really able to expand their ecosystem like Apple and Google are able to do. Hence it's dying a slow death.
