Just wanted to give an example of a couple photos of my stock headlights. These were taken on an iPhone 8. The variables between the two photos are one took the photo at ISO-320 and then the other ISO-100 with an exposure adjustment.

From the vs pics that have been posted they are MARGINALLY better in output. They DEFINITELY look better imo. I would still wait on the price to come down though, even 1200 for the morimoto is steep just for headlights.

J's and the morimotos is basically the SAME thing. they are both made by coplus.

The only difference is you get a J's badge on the top of the head light ....

Yes they pretty much are the same. Paying for that J's name and having that badge is pretty much is the difference, but when people see that J's badge, they know its a authentic part. It's like paying for luxury brand like Louis Vuitton or any other brands, the name really catches people's eyes. If you want to be different to have that 1% part, then get J's racing. If you want to save money, get retro or morimoto.

I agree that they are basically the same if it's made by the Taiwanese Coplus. Those made by Coplus will come in Coplus box like what you see here for the Honda Fit/Jazz.

However, I believe the knockoff of Coplus does exist in the market which is made by other Chinese manufacturer in different Chinese box that says nothing else but generic "Honda Civic LED headlights".

Just beware of the knockoff of aftermarket headlights.

Make sure you get your headlights in a Coplus printed box with English and Japanese text all over it.
