I'm having a similar issue on one of my headlights. On my driver's side headlights the DRLs won't stay lit up when in headlight mode. They work in DRL and turn signal mode. Were you able to fix this? If you look at the pic, the driver's side is not on compared to the passenger's.

I haven't installed mine yet, just plugged in those three plugs and tested the lights. Healights/brights came on. DRL didnt come on in either headlight. Is there a plug for the DRL light on the stock headlights I'm missing?

If I'm understanding the problem correctly, it doesn't seem that difficult to fix with some creative wiring, diodes, or resistors. I'll see if mine do it, cause I sure as fuck ain't sending them back.

For that price you shouldn’t have to futz around with any wiring unless that expectation is set from the start

Obviously. But we bought them already. So we either wallow in sorrow, or we fix it.

Or you return em and get a new set ..you paid for a working set and shouldn’t have to mess with it to get that ..just my opinion of course

A valid opinion. When shipping takes a month to get to me in Canada... vs a potential 2 minute fix... seems a pretty easy choice.

FC1 & FC3 use different headlights? Box only lists FC1 but I don't see why the sedan & coupe would be different

Okay, soooo.. it seems to be whatever wire enables (don't know the correct vocabulary here lol) the parking lights. I noticed that when I turn parking lights on, the driver's side does not dim compared to the passenger's. Then when I turn the headlights on, it goes completely off, compared to the passenger's which stays lit and dim?

Just got mine, only really had time to take them out of the box then I had to drive up to Edmonton for work. We'll figure this out and be able to narrow down the problem. We have to differentiate between OEM LED cars and OEM halogen cars, which have different harnesses, and pinpoint the problem to see if it's consistent.

Don't know if this has anything to do with it but note that there appears to be four regional boxes indicated on the top of the Morimoto boxes from TRS next to the Left or Right (L or R) indicator much like on the top of the J Racing light box Spaghettisauce posted on page 10 of this thread.
The letters are E, S, J, U. .. I would assume E is for Europe, J for Japan, and U for Untied States..
Wondering what S stands for as this is the one that looks to be ticketed off in the photo Ramster posted ?
