IMO the driving conditions all up and down 95 in the Jax area vary in terms of their smoothness and overall comfortability from a driver perspective. Sometimes certain lanes are particularly worse than others in the same stretch of 95. I can't say I've experienced your driving description precisely as you described per se, even in my last 2015 Civic Si or in my current CTR. But I would agree that 95 north and south in Jax down to St Aug can be sketchy in certain patches and areas. The area on I-95 south of the 295 junction gets sketchy, there is a patch of roads after you go under the "Jacksonville" bridge sign (going south before 210) that gets gnarly. I wouldn't sweat it being a vehicle issue

Yeah, it's not so much that I think it's a vehicle issue, but I do think it's strange that out of the 10+ vehicles I've driven on this stretch, the Civic is the only one that reacts to the road in this way. The swaying is almost like the car is being buffeted to the left and right. You can feel it in the steering wheel. I imagine it's a combination of being over 70 MPH and the road. I just find it so odd that something about the Civic reacts in a way that no other car I've driven on this stretch does.

Also, I wouldn't say the condition of I-95 I'm describing is terrible -- it's more that style of gradient paving in which there are lots of very small vertical lines up and down the lane.

I've experienced the same swaying on that stretch of 95. I am lowered on eibach pro-kit springs with rear camber kit and everything is aligned and in spec. Just got new tires as well and the weird swaying persists. My thoughts were that the road was to blame and if not it was something to do with new springs, or perhaps something to do with whatever the steering rack issue is that I've seen people talk about.

I was there but I didn't take any pictures of the civic since it was dirty and I parked alone next to some random cars. Next month I'm gonna get there early and try to park with some other civics.

Also, someone brought a new Ford GT. It was my first time seeing one in person. Such an awesome car.

Anyone in the Jacksonville area interested in trading their SI or LX hatchback front bumper lip with my hatchback sport lip? :)

I used River City Performance Coating (or Performance Cars, or whatever they call themselves now). 9799 Mining Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32257 The place is run by a very nice guy named Dan. He needs to work on his marketing as I can't find a website or Facebook page. His shop has swapped out the tires on my stock CTR wheels several times. They have the correct tool to do it without any risk of damage. I think he charged me less than $10 per tire for mounting and balancing.
