I know I said I wasn't going to part with my Si, but now I officially am. Over the weekend a friend of mine who lives in Southern California drove down his 2010 Lexus IS 350 Sport for me to test drive. It is fully loaded, no accidents, he is the only owner and it only has 52K miles on it (well, now almost 53K). It is in prime condition and looks like it came out of the showroom. It has a silky smooth 3.5 L 306 hp with 277 torque V6, and this thing hauls. It is so damn comfortable, and it is fun to drive. Turning off traction control I was able to get the rear to slide. At $18,500, I could not turn it down (he paid $38 when he bought it). It's been well maintained, and at 52K, that is still preteen in Toyota/Lexus years.

Today I transferred the money to him, and on Friday I am going to drive down to pick it up. At the same time, I have a buyer for my Si in SoCal who I will be delivering the car to in Orange County.

I'm not going to say I'm sad, I really enjoy the Si, but I needed something more refined. Sometimes you are just to tired to shift thru gears, and sometimes you just don't want to hear the engine or the road. The IS 350 is luxury and sporty in one package, and I really miss driving a V6.

I know some of you like @Honda_RacerX and @Jayceegee are going to be upset, but it is what it is. This is a great community and I really learned a lot here. I will really miss reading posts and posting. Next week when I get the IS I will post some pics of it.

BTW, I will be flashing my car back to stock before delivering it, if the new owner does not want to buy my Ktuner, I will post it here for sale after getting it unlocked

Congratulations! That is a great deal. Certainly a step up in the comfort department. I'm jealous, enjoy!

Congrats! That's a massive upgrade. It does come with a price with the staggered setup (tires only) and lower fuel economy. My friend has one and those are the only gripes. It's a solid pickup after properly depreciated. Cheers!

Yeah I know with the bigger tires in the back, and the 18 City 25 hwy...and Premium gas! The good news is my commute to work is not that far. The bad news is that I frequently travel to SoCal....

Congrats! My mom found a killer deal on an off-lease '16 IS300 for $22k. It surely is a wonderfully refined and well put together machine. I'm sure this one will bring many happy miles. I came from the Lexus fam so I will always appreciate them. Post up some pics of your new ride!
