Hey everyone,

I was in the midst of replacing the driver's side mirror due to the mirror glass and part of the plastic housing breaking when hitting the garage.

I ordered the housing pieces and the new mirror glass and had everything replaced but the mirror wouldn't adjust through the power controls.

After disconnecting the glass mirror, it appears one of the actuator rod heads is broken in the plastic mirror housing.

Is there anyway I can order just the actuator rod? For some reason I just couldn't get the actuator rod heads back into the mirror housing so I installed them into the actuator instead and it appears that's why they broke.

If the actuator is a non-serviceable part, has anyone tried to order an aftermarket mirror (1A Auto) and just transfer the stock skull cap?

Any suggestions would be very helpful! I tried reviewing the instructions from College Hill and this DIY but still stuck: https://www.civicx.com/threads/diy-...ghts-to-si-ex-side-mirrors.19619/#post-328153.

Thanks!
