So I’m buying a new CTR to replace my totaled (thanks to my son) CW CTR. I’ve found a new CW and a CBP but I’m undecided.

Championship White or Crystal Black Pearl? Weigh in and give me your thoughts. I know at the end of the day, it’s about what I like. I originally bought the CW because it is the heritage color but the more pics I see of the CBP, the more I’m drawn to it. Thank you!

White all day! I'm tired of black after my S2000 and WRX STi so maybe that skews my opinion. I also feel like the black hides some of the lines which I find cool but I realize some others like that aspect.

I love PMM and would have chosen that colour over CW if we had it in Canada.

Black with this body style looks too batmobile for me.

CW!! Black doesn't stand out enough and hides a lot of the details. I'm so over trying to keep black cars looking nice. No more black for me.

White is more easier to maintain other than regular washes. Black see all kinds of swirls and scratches. No go.

I went with PMM and LOVE it. Stealthiest color, flies a bit under the radar (though not too much with the CTR styling, obviously). White was my second choice. I had a white M3 back in the day and it wasn't bad to keep clean. Plus, as you say, it's the heritage color. Black looks great when it's clean but shows everything. I would never buy a black car, don't have the time to detail every weekend. Between CBP and CW, I'd go CW all day.

CW.

I think the only other colors I'd consider are the PMM or Sonic Grey - mostly just because I think those colors would suit DD needs better.

I agree on this and that’s why I chose CW over it for my first one. Black has grown on me though ever since I saw it in person.

Saw this one at a cars and coffee event:

My preferred color would be CW however when I was looking to buy last year cheapest I found was CBP (i couldnt afford to be picky lol). Its grown on me. I think the color suits the style of the car better. However my biggest complaint is keeping it clean. If its gonna be a daily like mine I would go with a lighter color. I hate having to sometimes drive around and car looks dirty. If its not a daily and garage kept you should be fine ultimately its what you like in the end.
