Is this overfilled with gas?

just checked my oil. Overfilled. Unfortunately it was on a slight hill so I may have to scrap this entire post. Oh well what you think?
Oh yeah only 1,500 miles and mm says 50%

It's high, your owners manual tells you exactly where it should be on the dipstick. Definitely recheck on level ground, consider it not even checked until you do. Checking on an incline will obviously not give you anywhere near an accurate reading. Tilt it the other direction and there might be nothing on the dipstick. As for fuel diluting the oil, literally the only way to tell is if it smells like gas so no one here will be able to help with that.

If you have a '17 Civic with 1500 miles and the MM says 50% Oil Life, it's because the oil has been sitting there for 2 years.

Mine looked similar even on the first day I drove it off the lot. I ended up draining about half a quart out, and it's now within the range.

Our 2 Civic, a 2016 and a 2018 have an oil over flow when receive from the dealer.
No more overflow since I change oil myself
