Hey everyone, just started lurking these forums a week ago.
Looking to purchase a Civic Type-R as daily driver and occasional track car in the next 1-3 months.
Previous Hondas -
My very first car back in 1999 was a '95 Honda Prelude I modded heavily way back in the crazy body kit and Racing Hart C5 days.
I also had a 2002 Acura TL Type-S with everything Comptech you could get, 18" Volk TE37's, carbon fiber hood, etc.
I had a 2005 Silverstone S2000 with Work wheels and J's Racing front bumper, hood, intake, headers, and exhaust. I ended up selling the intake/headers and putting a Greddy turbo kit on the car before eventually selling it.

I currently daily a 2008 Acura MDX but I'm looking to trade it in for a Civic Type-R.
My C7 Z06 is my 2nd vette. I also had a C6 Z06. I've modded every one of my cars. My current C7 Z06 has Z07 package with carbon ceramic brakes. I've put in a MGW short shifter, BMS drop-in filter and Tony Mamo ported throttle body. It's got a lot of carbon fiber bits. The roof, ground effects, fender extensions, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and hood vent. Images of my Z06 here -> https://imgur.com/a/2XAre

I always wanted a Type-R since I was able to drive when the Integra Type-R released, but wasn't able to ever get one.
I've always loved Hondas and I'm excited to finally get a Type-R!

Back in the day when I was single and no responsibilities owned a 96 integra RS. Always wanted an Integra GSR or Type R, S2000 or 93-95 RX7. Loved those cars but could never afford it.

Flash forward to now, just turned 49 years old, love my wife and kids... wife was nagging me to buy myself a new car after driving my 95 Honda Accord for the past 18 years. Researched what was currently on the market, since have been totally out of touch.

Was impressed by the reviews of the CTR, and liked could still drive the family around. Took the plunge early December. Was either this or a minivan . Had no idea how fun a driving car could be.
