I know there's a bunch of other threads with similar questions and answers but i can't seem to find an actual answer that people agree on.

I'm looking to possibly get an intake (SRI). Reason: the turbo noise (to make the car sound/feel more fun to drive) I have the 1.5T Hatchback

I know there won't be much/if any HP gains but my question is can this cause anything bad long term. I've read that it will make it run more "rich".. Can this do any harm to the motor. I wouldn't want to cause damage or anything. I know tuning will help but at the moment that's not an option. planning on keeping my car for a long time.

Would love some feed back on this to help my decision. I've read people saying the computer will adjust..Its such a small difference that it wont harm anything.. And then there's people saying that it's the worst thing ever to install..
No point in saying I'm wasting my money/there's no point in getting an intake. It's all about what the person enjoys.

-- Does installing an intake without a tune cause harm to the engine over time?

Thanks!
