Hello everyone, I'm just sharing for those that don't have the LED touring trim and hasn't changed their OEM halogen low-beam bulbs.

I purchased a pair of Philips Diamond Vision bulbs from Amazon and installed them today. I was expecting it to be a tad more blue, it almost matches the LED, like really close, and looks better than the OEM bulbs, in my opinion. The lights are bright enough for me, as I live in a city.

Here is a before pic of the OEM:

They definitely don't have the lighting distance of the OEM. But I find it absolutely fine to drive in through the city, rural roads can feel a little iffy but doable.

It's plug and play, very simple.

Ok I wont bother with them as I am looking for distance! You need to see what is ahead when motoring briskly down the road.

HID's are relatively simple to install. Moreso on this gen civic. You can reach the low beam bulb without having to move/remove anything. On the older gens you basically had to remove the headlight to change anything out. It's mostly about figuring out where to mount the ballast.

Yeah I know its not hard to swap the lights... but im concerned for the whole ballast thing. Also... im in Canada and whenever I find anything I like... prices shoot up because of my location. A local guy offered me some HIDs for like 120 but he says that depends on what he needs to use to install.... it might increase to 180/200 dollars.
