If you've changed them, what spark plugs are you running?

Stock should be fine. If your tuned and fbo I would say maybe go with one step colder spark plugs
Roger that! I'm going to guess that it's my coil(s) not the plugs. Hope to find out later today-

Any update on what happened?
Yes! Happy (or disappointed?) to report that water, or at least moisture, got into spark plug tube 4 and killed coil pack #4.

Warranty got me a new coil pack and I'm back on the road! Driving it for a couple days on the stock tune just to prove it out but 50 miles in and it's good so far!

Nice man. I’m happy to hear it was an easy diagnosis and fix. I’m sure your anxiety was through the roof lol.

Did they explain how it could have happened?

It was! I don't like it being out of my sight or possession!

They did not but the only thing I can say is...I opened the hood after the hood was wet and found water sitting on top of the engine cover. Took off the engine cover and saw water sitting on top of the coil pack and in that area...so it must be coming in through the hood scoop.

I never had water on the engine cover on my CW CTR but with my CBP CTR, I always have water after a wash or heavy rain.

I never thought it was getting down to the spark plug tube.

I'm seeing similar problems again...checked the coils and they're dry. #4 has signs of rust in the spark plug hole and on the coil (as though it rubbed off or otherwise migrated...)

Wondering if there's any update. @PRL Motorsports , @KTuner , @D-RobIMW are you guys all running stock plugs still or did you make a change on typeR?

Speaking about checking spark plugs. To my understanding you need a thin wall spark plug remover to get to the plugs. Typically 5/8" doesn't work right? Can someone post up a amazon link to the one that works on the CTR? Thanks ahead of time.

What mileage do you change the plugs on older cars I used to change them at 10,000 miles on the newest car I changed the plugs was my 2004 tiburon when I changed the timing belt and water pump at 60,000 miles
Cars after that was a TDI Jetta( glow plugs) and a 2014 Elantra coupe which I traded in for the civic .the Elantra had 45,000 miles I didn’t change the plugs on
