Hey everyone,

I'm all settled into my 21psi CVT tune and now am starting to wonder about how to best utilize the BBG feature.

@dallasjhawk already mentioned in another thread that 17psi in 1st gear will take care of tire spin, but are there any other tips to consider for BBG? Would 18 or 19 psi for 2nd make sense, or is that overkill? Is any of this overkill if I dont already have boost target dampening disabled? (I'm too chicken to disable it atm)

I'm not sure how to approach this!

really depends on what tires you have

you would have to keep playing with it til it stops spinning. so it will take a few flashes
Hmm he probably doesnt have stock tires so the number may be different.

Other than the spin thing, is there any reason to do BBG on a CVT if you dont have boost dampening disabled?

No wheel spin for me in 2nd gear on PS4 tires @ 24.5 PSI @ WOT

My points being it all depends on what tires you're running

Any idea of what that number would be for the stock sedan tires?

I just want to know what psi to set it at so my clutch doesn't slip in 5th, and 6th.

So, what are your personal settings that worked best for you? Curious also what setting you have with Advanced VSA. Thanks!

You can go higher in boost up top, no need to dumb it down much down low aside from spinning issues.
My old CVT hatch was 26 psi in 4th 5th and 6th.
