I phone 5s Siri Issues

Have a Civic LX and my Bluetooth works fine for my IPhone 5s. The only issue I have is when I'm connected to my cars Bluetooth I cant get siri to work. Mainly when I'm driving and just ask Siri to play as song. When I say something it does not pick anything up. Any suggestions?

You are getting Siri to activate, correct?

To get Siri, you have to hold the talk button down for a couple of seconds, not just press and release it!

I am. It's just when my phone is connected to thre Bluetooth in the car it doesn't recognize my voice commands. It is connected as a phone and not an audio device so I'm gonna see if that works
