I ordered my Hybrid Racing short shifter from FKX Racing for their Black Friday sale. I can’t wait to install.

I also ordered mine with the Black Friday deal. It’s actually showing it should be here today. USPS update says it’s on the delivery truck to my house. I’ll post some pics when it gets here.

Not that it matters since it's covered up anyway, but I like it better in red ;)

I agree! Counting down the days until I can pick mine up from Fed Ex. I have to find the time and location to install this because it’s cold as heck here. Can this be installed with the car on?

I feel your pain... I’m not sure how the car would react to having stuff unplugged while running

I thought the same thing. But I contacted hybrid and they said that their shifter mounts directly to the body so there is no need for the base bushings.

Correct - no base bushings are needed with the Hybrid Racing short shifter. HR does sell shifter base bushings for the 10th gen civic, but they are ONLY to be used with the stock shifter. So either bolt the HR short shifter directly to the chassis as mentioned, or swap your stock base bushings with HR bushings with the stock shifter setup.

Installed mine over the weekend and really enjoy the feel with this shifter, no complaints.

Can anyone comment on how this might feel vs. an s2000 shifter? The CTR has the best feeling manual I've driven since my s2000, but it's still not quite as good so I've been eyeing something like this to kick it up a notch to get that experience back.

For those who have already installed, taking this part off is proving to be the hardest part. In the video I saw it comes off so easily but mine is like rock hard in there. I’ve literally built a sweat trying to remove it. Any suggestions?
