Hey everyone, Ive had these HRE's for almost a year and have loved them, but I have always been a big TE37 fan (had a set on my miata for about 8 years now) and I kinda want my cars to match wheels. The HRE's have been powdercoated matte black on the faces, gloss black on the lips and the bolts are rally red. Wheel specs are as follows:
18x9 +41
Federal 595 RSR in 265/35/18 (approximately 3k miles on the tires and the wheels since powdercoating)
Honestly you could run a bigger sidewall, I ordered these feddies because I knew that they would 100% not scrub on stock suspension. From looking at the car you see you could drive lowered just fine (or at least I estimate that, it doesnt look close to scrubbing anywhere.) In stock form there is no scrubbing at all no matter how hard you are turning or how bad the bumps are. I have never scrubbed and I live in Charleston, SC which has a lot of terrible bumps and potholes and all that mess.
Id love to trade for a set of TE37s in bronze, but im open to other offers, and am willing to put some cash on top for the right deal. Im asking $3500, the wheels new are $1300 a piece before assembly, shipping and handling, plus tires, so I feel my price is pretty reasonable for someone wanting to look a little more orignial with as many type R's as there are riding around now a days.
Let me know if youve got any questions! 478-662-15(six six)
