I can tell you one thing. If you are gonna install the downpipe I wouldn’t recommend an aftermarket exhaust. Mine was so loud that I had to remove it. It seems like the people that kept the factory exhaust plus the downpipe came out with the extra performance without being really loud.Yup @chuenoona thanks...because of you i got the downpipe and tuner waiting for my pipe now!...some are saying intake didn't matter much...you agree?
If you have no muffler, it’s definitely gonna be loud with the downpipe. You’ll probably have to add a muffler, unless you like it loud. Some people actually like loud@mvela i just did a muffler delete...kept the resonator... thanx for that info i was considering invidia
Yes intake didn’t do much so I sold my aem intakeYup @chuenoona thanks...because of you i got the downpipe and tuner waiting for my pipe now!...some are saying intake didn't matter much...you agree?
it lost 3 HP & 3 TQ torque in the 3000-4500 rpm ...I'm curious! How did you know it didn't do much? Surprised actually!
it lost 3 HP & 3 TQ torque in the 3000-4500 rpm ...
And only gain 1-2 Hp in the 5000rpm to 6500rpm...
For the crazy price they charge for intakes for the k20C2 I was disappointed and just sold it ...
Yeah man that thing is pulling for sure I already miss my downpipe yours doesn’t sound nearly as obnoxious as mine did, what do you have your redline set to?Bad launch ... but this thing rips now
With the bolt ons and tuned...
7200 rpm ... that way I hit 60mph in 2nd gearYeah man that thing is pulling for sure I already miss my downpipe yours doesn’t sound nearly as obnoxious as mine did, what do you have your redline set to?
Do you think that’s useful/safe running higher than 7,000?7200 rpm ... that way I hit 60mph in 2nd gear
... yeah the downpipe barely adds any noise so that’s good ...
yes it should be fine, I monitor knock and timing, oil pressure and AFR, all those values are in safe ranges ....Do you think that’s useful/safe running higher than 7,000?
Oh shit nice!! So AFR should usually be the same at 14.7? Just curiousyes it should be fine, I monitor knock and timing, oil pressure and AFR, all those values are in safe ranges ....
