How to run a wire from glove box to driver's side fuse panel behind center dash/console

Does anyone know how to run a wire from the glove box to the driver's side fuse panel?

I cannot figure out how to get it through/behind the center of the dash.

I am trying to make my glove box lock/unlock with a hidden button.

There’s a tiny gap between the carpet/insulation and the bottom corner of the center console that goes through. Here’s a pic from an interior light kit install I used for the passenger side:

it’s definitely a tight fit and needs some pressure when you push the wire through. The gap looks the same on the drivers side.

This is what I'd do. It takes less than a minute to remove the radio and makes that job a LOT easier.
