How to Protect Car Interior Cloth? My driver's side arm rest is already fading from the black color (see pictures). How do I restore this and protect it from fading?

It's the skin cells from your arm. Just vacuum or take a damp cloth and wipe off

I use Scotch Guard on my interior and I still get this same thing. I haven't tried to clean it yet (as bad as that sounds :( ) but I suspect that just a damp cloth and a vacuum isn't going to make it black again.

Is there some kind of cover I could put here? or is the only way to use fabric protection spray?

Yeah I notice a little of this already. The material is real cheap. I'll try getting a protective spray.

It wears down quickly. Same thing on my 2010 Si. If you really want it back you're going to have to get a new piece.

Buy the leather armrests and replace them, and do the center console while you're at it. Much more comfortable than the cloth and improves the look.

Where can I buy this and how do I install it? How much are they?
You can buy the parts at http://hondapartsnetwork.com. The parts listed below are for the 2016 coupe, to give you an idea of the cost. You'll have to search the site for the sedan parts. Not that hard to pull up the schematic and look.

Right Console Armrest Assembly 86411-TBA-A11ZA $39.03
Left Console Armrest Assembly 83416-TBA-A11ZA $39.03
Armrest Assembly 83441-TBA-A01ZA $98.73
Right Door Armrest Assembly83502-TBG-A51ZA $23.06
Left Door Armrest Assembly 83552-TBG-A51ZA $23.06

While you're at it, you can replace the steering wheel and shift knob.....
Shift Knob 54130-TBA-L82ZA $48.61
Steering Wheel 78501-TBA-A21ZA $87.49

Has anyone found a solution? I'm having this issue and it's driving me nuts and the replacement part for the sedan is like $166. Too much for me
