Somewhere along the way, the lower corner of the driver's door must have hit against something. A one-inch 45-degree chamfer has been bent back about 3/8".

Any thoughts on how to handle this?

Thanks!

A good paintless dent repair shop should be able to handle it fairly cheaply. I had a bend higher up on my driver door straightened out for less than $50.
