For the older guys in here like myself, holy moly get some 18 inch rims. I went to 265/35 R18 and wow it’s even more comfortable! Very noticeably more comfortable. Not that stock was bad at all! For reference I daily an 2016 Advance MDX.

Is there a recommended offset for 18" wheels on the CTR? What brand/designation of tire did you go with? 265/35 is a lot of tire!

50, and I wish I could afford a CTR! Hell, even a Sport 1.5T. I'm on a 1.0 Turbo and even this baby makes me smile while driving!

Been driving Honda cars since I first received my license back in the day :rofl::rofl:!!! I'm 34 currently and have driven the following: 1.) First car, 95 Civic DX manual sedan. 2.) Second car, 01 Integra GS manual coup hatch. 3.) And currently, 18 CTR. I should mention that I did own a 13 Dodge Dart Rallye 1.5L turbofor a little over 5 years but switched to the CTR...missed the feel of a Honda.

I am a 51 year old White Female and this is my first Honda! I was looking at several cars including the Lexus RC350 and Camaro. My buddy told me to test drive an Si, I did, I liked it and then the CTR came out and I chose wisely (in my HUMBLE opinion of course!) It is my daily driver and I'm a professional businesswoman so you should see the looks I get!! I LOVE IT!! I wanted a fun car to drive and I got it! Already been to the track 3 times

I'm a 38yo married guy with 2 kids. First car was an Accord. Moved onto RSX Type S, S2000, wrx STi, etc. Integra Type R was my dream car as a teenager but I could never afford it of course. Just put a deposit down on a 2019 Championship White CTR to be delivered by the start of the new year.

Compiled some of the data from this thread so far:

18 to 29 = 23 people are boy racers (25%)
30 to 39 = 34 people have no kids (37%)
40 to 49 = 17 people are trying to relive the 80s/90s (19%)
50 to 59 = 12 people are having a mid-life crisis (13%)
60 to 69 = 4 people decided Jaguars (Jag-yoo-arrs) are boring (4%)
76 = 1 person got confused at church and wandered into a Honda dealership (1%)
(Jokes ;))

Total of 91 people reporting (may have missed 1 or 2)
Average age is 38

Even though forums nowadays may skew older, I'm still surprised average is currently at 38. But it makes sense since people in their 30s would be established in their careers and are earning a decent enough income to afford one.

/\ Add me to the mid life crisis group. Wife said the GT500 was my real mid life crisis car though - lol ;)
Love the Type R and wouldn't trade it. :)

Quality reporting ... good laughs

TBH though, I didn't discover my love for Honda's until 2001, so I'm not reliving the 80's/90's
