Did the velcro damage the trim where you mounted it? can it be removed without leaving behind residue?

Hey Man I purchased this same mount and it keeps falling off the vent. I can’t get it to secure properly and it’s scratched my trim
Simplicity at its best.
2x2 inch industrial strength Velcro.

I'm not using any bracket. Just Velcro on the back of the display. It's not attached to the vent, just the space below it.

Front window is tinted so this was the best spot for me. I still feel some air flow from that vent.

Hey man I bought the same mount but can’t get it to stay on the vent. I bump it and it falls off and bent my input cable :(

How did you get it to stay in place?

Sorry man I quoted the wrong post. Can you post photos of your Velcro job?

Has it ever fallen off?

I just clipped it onto the bottom vent piece. It should have a spring/clip you pull back on to clip it to the vent.

Never fallen off.

That’s literally as simple as it gets. I may just have to do that since it seems more durable.

Dang, that sucks. I tried once to remove before going to dealership for oil change and it was hard to get off. So I just removed the V2 instead.

Yeah not sure why mine keeps falling. I'm going to just return it sadly

So I didn't have "industrial velcro" but I had command strips and they worked like a charm!

2 Command strips on the back.
Works like a charm.

Best part, if I end up not liking it I can remove with ease since they have the pull tab. Win win.
