Hondata just released their traction control for the Si now. Has anyone tried this feature yet? I'm seriously considering flashpro > ktuner because of this feature alone. This feature would be great for FWD torque monsters.

Here's the video if anyone hasn't seen it yet:

So this is essentially this a better traction control than the one built into the car already?
Growing up I always heard its best to have traction control off for cornering. Is this more geared for drag times and or street racers?

I'm not entirely sure in terms of cornering. As far as straight line speed and traction it seems pretty impressive. I personally haven't had any experience with it. There's also a video on YouTube of hondata using it on a type r and the results are substantial.

Yeah I was the same way. Almost pulled the trigger on a ktuner but now I might have to switch. It seems hondata wants to take control of the tuner market again. I'm all for this competition!

Sounds like the Advanced VSA options that are already available in Ktuner, no?

It might be. I didn't think ktuners was this advanced. I could be completely wrong, maybe someone with the knowledge of both could chime in

Does anyone know if the traction control modification is available with the CARB version? Unless the better traction control will cause more baby polar bears to die.

Whats the benefit of this feature over competely disabling the traction control (flashing indicator)?

Ive been running it since beta and yes it's the business.......

I bumped the slip percentage from 3-5% because of my summer only tires and it perfectly hazes them. Quite literally rides the traction limit.

Honda Civic 10th gen Hondata traction control hondata-traction-control-accord

at the top where is says "traction control target slip" I increased this number to 5%. The higher the number the more slip percentage it allows for traction loss. Basically this is only something to do if you feel it is "over-intervening" because you have better tires.

It works great as it comes from them as well.
