One of the things that Hondata touts is the fact that users can adjust the torque limit table on the Econ button tune separately. But, since there's no access to the TC Max Pressure for the Econ button tune, what exactly will raising the torque limits by themselves do?

Thanks for any insight.

Tq is controlled by boost. Tq is your boost table. It will not go higher than what you have set on TC max pressure

So basically, adjusting the tq on Econ won't really do a thing since there's no way to adjust TC max pressure for Econ?

your econ should be your low boost button and in non econ mode should be your high boost

I get that but I just wondered if tweaking the torque number would give it just a tad more oomph. Compared to my "+7.5” tune it feels really sluggish.

here is one strategy that can be used... note its not the only one...

- set your tc maximum pressure ratio to the max boost you'd want to see
- leave the torque limit as delivered and see what boost you actually get
- if you want more or less adjust the torque limit
- revisit the tc maximum pressure ratio and adjust to the actual boost seen and retest (try not to ask for more boost than your actually getting),,, retest again and check for consitency
- once your ok with your non econ mode levels or power switch to econ mode and tune that torque limit to the boost/power you want
