Depends what tune you are trying to run. If you are just running one of the pre-installed Hondata tunes, it is easy enough to install yourself. Look up YouTube videos for step by step. Very painless and easy install. But if you want a custom tune, and are not very car savvy, I would suggest you find a custom tuner shop in your area that works with Hondata. Hope that helps.

It's really a simple process.

1. Buy a Flashpro.
2. Download the Flashpro Manager software.
3. Lock the unit to your ECU via the OBDII port.
4. Choose a base tune and upload it to your Flashpro.
5. Upload the tune from the Flashpro to your ECU via the OBDII port.
6. Enjoy your new more powerful Civic.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking wasn’t sure I’d have to take it to the shop and have it tuned for more horse power cause that’s what friends kept telling me wasn’t sure so I had to ask more experts thanks bro saved me $500 bucks for a tune

As far as bang for the buck power out the door it's the best buy, once you have your bolt ons together, e85 kit, clutch, downpipe/front pipe, intake, intercooler, clutch broken in then slap a new turbo on it and then you want the custom tune, and that would be my recommended order of mods as well for power gains, with a custom tune that'll put you at 340 to 360 to the wheels
