Oof, getting ready to put these on my SI... not very reassuring.
Oh don't mind me, I'm just making something out of nothing.

The coils are great, probably the best you can buy sub 1k. Plus tein is an OG respected brand, you can't go wrong with them.

im kinda freaking out about messing with a new with less than 1k miles on it. That whole cv boot/half shaft issue..

Half shaft issue? Haven't heard of that. What is it?

Pulling down on the knuckle to remove the stock strut can pull the drive shaft (half shaft) out of the transaxle or tear the cv boot..
Oh, yeah. You kinda have to pull it a little out to get the clearance you need to slip the new coil on, it's not hard to get back in there.

Trust me, I get paranoid about this stuff too. My car only had about 5k when I put them on and I haven't seen any problems yet.
