Interest rates have risen. I have an 814 credit score and the best they could do for me was like 3.5%.

1.99% would have been doable like 5-10 years ago unless I'm completely mistaken.

I'll definitely have to check credit unions. I'm already a member of NFCU which I haven't used in years. Maybe it's time to dump Wells Fargo

rates are different in every town. so that's why i said shop around

I have excellent credit and I don't even see 1.9% advertised anywhere. Wide open google and I'm seeing nothing like that. I'm seeing mid 3 percent.

Who's your local credit union? How about a link to their site? People are always saying this, but when I check out my local credit unions, their lowest *advertised* rate for people with perfect credit is still higher than BoA or other large banks. The local credit unions are offering ~4% for perfect credit on car loans when I called.

You should consider refinancing.. try penfed / space coast. I’m 100% they’ll beat Wells Fargo interest rate.

Edit: it also depends how much you borrowed tho lol

800+ credit score. 3.49 through Honda. Could of went through my credit union wasn’t worth the $6 dollars a month

I thought it was a regional thing so I checked out Nevada/Las Vegas credit unions. Nothing. So why doesn't someone please share where they're giving out 1-2% loans. Because I can't find it at all

With a 750 USAA gave me the best rate which was around 4.5%, which was a full point lower than financing through Honda. It’s a point higher than my last car loan but at the same time I expected it because interest rates are just going up up and up.

I got 3.69% from BoA with an 810 score, may look at refinancing at some point, but it's not the worst rate in the world.

Honda financial gave me somewhere between 5.5 and 5.99 percent with a 750+ credit score. I think they bumped it though because they sold me the car at MSRP and they wanted to make more money on the back end. I went the next week to Navy Federal Credit Union and refinanced for 3 % for 60 months. This was in September

maybe while ago but now. Lowest penfed rate is 2.49@36months. 60months is 3.49.

PenFed approved me for 3.49% but Honda (through Wells Fargo) matched it.
