Ask them if they will be donating the ADM to charity. When they tell you no, go on twitter and as Honda Customer Service and ask them if they plan on making an affordable Civic TypeR. They will probably come back with its $33xxx, then link them to this dealer
I posted three tweets to HondaCustSrv just now!

If dealers are donating the crazy ADM's to a charity that one pays, then who gets to write it off on their taxes?

Rome Ga dealer asking $45,000
Martin Mainline (outside Philly) is at $44/45 also. Apparently sold already as of Saturday, but they haven't actually delivered it yet...

What? No dealer is going to donate the money when they work so hard to get the extra profit. It'd be a disservice to a customer to just charge extra to give it away. They're definitely sticking it in in the dealerships pocket and I guarantee none of the money is given to charity or donation if so then what would be the point. The dealer would just sell it for MSRP and forget about it.

Man anyone stupid enough to pay anything over MSRP is going to be in for a big surprise when they try to resell. At least to anyone with a brain.

That's an awesome question!!! IF you purchase a type r from the dealership from a "charity auction" you get to claim the charitable deduction on YOUR taxes. 45k CTR, total price of CTR - MSRP = charitable deduction for you. NOT the dealership.

Yes your are right on TypeRMom, the dealer doesn't get to do that because you paid for it. Just call my accountant about this. Just like when one sees these Barrett Jackson Auctions where they do these charity sells. That's why one sees these crazy prices on these rides.
